Canary Wharf’s Family Summer Festival is a fun, free summer celebration of outdoor music, dance, song and theatre performances, all carefully selected with parents and children in mind. Events are held at different open spaces in Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs throughout the school summer holidays, and offer families an eclectic range of imaginative, high-quality performances from some of London’s finest arts companies.
Whether you live in east London or you’re just visiting, the events at the Family Summer Festival are well worth popping along to. Highlights at Canada Square Park include live music from the Royal Albert Hall’s Albert Band on 6 August, dancing from students of the Studio Chislehurst and an exciting interpretation of The Wind in the Willows by Boxtree Productions on 30 July.
