£500-£550k should purchase a four bedroom home in the Hayes area. If you are more into modern flats/apartments then they might not be for you but for the investor or those with vision these properties really could be a great buy.

Regeneration is bringing new home developments

We aren’t talking about aircraft when we say there are big transport changes on the horizon in Hayes!

There is plenty happening in this area. The closure of Nestle in 2014 might have been the end of an era but the redevelopment of the site is definitely the start of a new one. Over 1300 homes will go into the 30 acre site which will include a coffee shop and retain the fantastic Art Deco site entrance. The project is expected to complete fully by 2025 but the first residents are scheduled to get keys to their new homes as early as next spring.

Another site being redeveloped is the old EMI building. Made famous by The Beatles, the 18-acre site is now The Old Vinyl Factory. It will not only house over six hundred flats but there will be cafes, a cinema and some new restaurants in the mix too.

Appealing location makes Hayes a great place to live

Hayes is less than five miles north of Heathrow Airport and having an International airport on your doorstep opens up opportunities. Ease of foreign travel and employment opportunities to name two.

There are already good transport links in the area. Although in Zone 5 there are direct rail links to Paddington and Reading alongside Heathrow. The arrival of Crossrail to Hayes & Harlington will make connection times even faster and offer a more comfortable commute throughout the city and beyond. This amenity is going to increase demand for property in the area and also give people a good return on their purchase price if they are ahead of the game.
